At some random point in history figure developer Max Factory decided they’d jump into the action figure market with an affordable new line called Figma. The line ended up being incredibly popular and Max Factory has since focused their efforts on pumping them out. This is a bit of a shame as their PVC figures were some of the best on the market…but looking at the prices for their latest PVC’s ($100 for a 1/7), perhaps this is for the best.

Hooray! Someone finally licensed the Higurashi no Naku Koro ni visual novels! Too bad they’re going to offer the games as download only. I’m the type that enjoys owning physical copies of things, so this new age of digital-only content is seriously rubbing me the wrong way. The day figures go digital only…it’ll be like my worst nightmare come to life. (Let’s completely ignore the illogical parts of that last sentence for now)
