Here’s another strange post for you all today, boys and girls. Let’s take a gander at my increasingly otaku-ish room.

I’m sure it must be surreal for a normal person to first see my room. The first thing they’ll see are figures. Figures as far as the eye can see! Male figures, female figures, well-dressed figures, half-naked figures, broiled figures, boiled figures, baked figures, fried figures, figure stew, figure soup, barbequed figures…
Kamina towel. Best thirteen bucks I’ve spent this month.
I’ve been wanting more stuff for my walls. I got a few Pokemon posters sitting around but I don’t know if I’ll hang ‘em up…(I probably will). When you leave the room you’ll be bid farewell by a badass Kamina towel I got from Hobbylink Japan. The Gentlemen’s Alliance Cross and Rurouni Kenshin posters are freebies from Viz.

This is where the magic used to happen. My desktop doesn’t see much use now that I’ve got a laptop to work with. Lying on the desk is a copy of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, which I still haven’t finished reading.
This is a pretty nice shelf I got from a Goodwill store yesterday while shopping with friends. Cost $25 and matches pretty well with my computer desk. I’m a little sad that it’s already full…
Meta Knight, Raiho and Plump Peach guard the library.
Here’s a cheap particle board rack featuring manga I’m still collecting. One day the shelf will be filled entirely with One Piece and Naruto.
To save up on space I shoved all of my completed/discontinued/one shot manga series into the dresser. There are a couple series in here, like Fruits Basket, that were shoved here in advance as the final volumes are coming out very soon.
My pitiful music collection. This is also where I keep doujinshi, artbooks, independently published books (like the Mother 3 Handbook) and a few other items.
I forgot I had that pickle.
The fridge’s current contents. I guess it’s about time I start stocking up again.

And the Gitaroo Knight herself. Not photographed were my DVD collection (in the guest room), video game collection (in the closet), and terrifying mountain of figure boxes (also in closet)

- I must have that towel. Maybe it’s because I happened to have “Pierce the Heavens With Your XXX!” (or rather, Parallel Works 4) playing in the background, but drying off by rubbing Kamina over my body sounds oddly appealing.

- The towel is out of stock at Hobbylink Japan, but it may still be available elsewhere…if I find a shop that still has it, I’ll send you the link.
- It is! Drifloon’s my favorite of the D/P generation.
- I’ve got so much manga…this is the only way to fit it in my room.
- And the camera’s been a godsend!
