- At long last I have finally purchased all 20 volumes of Angel Sanctuary. (It’s about time!) I can’t say this ended up being one of my personal favorites…it’s not bad by any means, and the story’s pacing was consistent from start to finish. There were just way too many characters for my liking, and too many instances of “this character is about to die but oh wait he/she is miraculously saved at the last second”.
I did enjoy the surprising amount of death and gore. I was expecting another fluffy shoujo romance story and instead got excessive amounts of misfortune and brutality. That’s always fun.
- For those of you wondering: No, Tropical Storm Fay didn’t cause any serious damage to my area of residence. I can’t say the same for the folk in other areas of Florida, though…
- Ah, the end of summer is upon us. That means that for most of you school is starting. Some of you kids are starting college, while others are returning. Good luck to all of you lucky little punks. Me? My summer vacation was over months ago, and I can’t remember if it was even a week long.
So while all of you have been frolicking with your friends and family under sunshine and rainbows, I’ve been sitting on my ass (barely) attending school. Good times.
