NAME: Nagi (Death Cloth Version)
SERIES: Peace@Pieces
SCALE/CREATOR: 1/8, by Alter
RELEASE DATE: January 2007

Alter’s up to bat again with the second girl in their Peace@Pieces line. Today we’ll be looking at the unusually dressed Nagi. Hikaru is pretty epic in terms of quality, so I had high hopes that Nagi would match her.
PACKAGING: 6/10

Is this deja vu?
It keeps with the cutesy-wutesy theme Hikaru’s box had…but it’s still a pretty boring box.
SCULPT: 10/10

Yowza! That’s quite a chest for such a thin girl.
Hiromitsu Morikawa is the man…when it comes to sculpting loli bodies, that is. Morikawa and Noizi Ito are like a match made in heaven! Alter did just as expected here. Seams are kept to a minimum, and the overall mold is crisp and clean. All of the fine little details in her bizarre outfit are accounted for.
PAINT: 8/10

That hat probably weights more than Nagi herself.
Now here’s where Alter slightly falters. There is a little bit of sloppy painting on smaller detailed parts of her outfit, such as the…uh…slots (?) on her sleeve. Also, it seems too much paint was applied to some parts of her hair. On my figure, Nagi’s fringe is lighter than the rest of her hair.
Everything else looks good. Most of the paint job is pretty clean. The pearlescent paint used on her clothes adds a nice bit of flair.
POSE: 6/10

Those nipple clips don’t look very comfortable…
…well…she’s sitting. Granted, she does look nice sitting there but…it’s certainly not very exciting. Also, the way her head is lowered makes her face a bit hard to see at most angles.

What the hell is that thing supposed to be?
Nagi’s boring pose is saved by her really weird base. The base consists of a robot bug thing attached to a large tube, which can be attached to the lower base. It’s a lot more exciting than Hikaru’s generic pink slab.
OVERALL: 9/10
Nagi’s a very good figure. There’s no doubt about that. However, I just can’t help but feel she’s missing that special something when compared to Hikaru. Don’t let that stop you, though. If you can find Nagi in stock, I highly recommend adding her to your collection.
