Today brings us yet another of Oh! Great’s busty beauties, with this one being my personal favorite. Known as Simca the Swallow, this pink haired hottie from AIR GEAR isn’t afraid to flaunt her body. Her carefree but masterful skills on skates are initially what drives the story’s protagonist, Ikki, to take up “Air Trek” (Extreeeeeeme roller blading) himself.

PACKAGING: 7/10

It’s, like, totally awesome, yo.

It’s a typical MegaHouse box, made out of thicker cardboard than other companies’ boxes. Simca decorates one side with her green color scheme, while Ringo takes up the other side with her pink scheme. The box retains that “super hip, totally cool, wicked to the extreme” design that’s all over the place in AIR GEAR.

SCULPT: 8/10

Oh! Great’s women have some of the best legs in the business.

I love MegaHouse. Their quality is consistent, and their prices are always low compared to everyone else who seems obsessed with jacking up the prices. I mean, who the hell wants to pay 6800 yen for a 1/8 scale?! Simca’s slender yet curvy body is faithfully crafted in this fine offering from MH.

People whined that the PVC’s face doesn’t quite match with Simca’s face in the manga. This is somewhat true. However, this figure’s face is the closest match out of all the Simca figures. Creator’s Labo Simca statue looks NOTHING like her, and the Cerberus Project’s Simca’s face is far too childish.

Quality wise, Simca’s sporting quite a few seam lines. Legs, clothes, and on the top of her head. The head seams can be concealed by her removable (and stylish) hat.

PAINT: 7/10

Why, oh why does she get a haircut later in the series?!

Aside from the stripes on her Air Treks, Simca’s painting is very neat. Shading’s a bit lacking on her clothes, but her skin and hair are well done. Though I wonder why they used purple to shade her hair? It looks a bit odd, in all honesty. Simca’s colors are also pretty dull, so she doesn’t stand out very much.

POSE: 9/10

Simca’s very cunning, but she hides her mysterious intentions under a super playful and flirtatious persona. Her pose here is pretty playful. Thanks to the way her skirt rises up in the back, it’s also a wee bit sexy. Perfect for Simca.

They’re not white!

It’s hard to see in this pic, but her undergarments are dark green.

Hey look, it’s base time. It matches with Simca’s green theme…looks nice. This is a typical example of a MegaHouse base, by the way. A transparent single colored slab…with an embossed logo.

OVERALL: 8/10

MegaHouse does a great job in this rendition of Simca, which I feel is still the best on the market. You might still be able to find her in stock at some online shops. If you do, I recommend picking her up.
