NAME: Feena Fam Earthlight
SERIES: Brighter Than Dawning Blue
SCALE/CREATOR: 1/8, by Kotobukiya
RELEASE DATE: August 2006

Brighter Than Dawning Blue ~ Crescent Love is a terrible, terrible anime. Feena, however, is quite a beauty and extremely hard to resist in figure form. Honestly, though, don’t watch the show. QUALITY Cabbage alone is not worth having to sit through that rubbish.
PACKAGING: 8/10

A box fit for a lunar princess.
Feena comes packaged in a small, elegant blue box that seems based off her royal dress design. The back of the box features two shots of the Feena figure in addition to some artwork of her in her royal clothing. Nice, nice.
SCULPT: 7/10

She’s as serene as the night sky…
Kotobukiya’s quality ranges from average to great. Feena’s somewhere in the middle. She’s got a lot of seam lines that drag down the overall package. Legs, arms, hair, clothes…seams are everywhere.

…with hair that shimmers like the stars…
Her mold’s pretty sharp, though. The folds in her clothes, the detail in her hair, and her curvy body are all wonderfully sculpted. Also, for those worrying about her one-legged pose, Feena’s leg is screwed to the base. Add that to the fact that she’s extremely light, and you’ve got one lean-free moon princess.
PAINT: 10/10

…wearing an outfit as radiant as the moonlight…
To put it simply: Koto’s paint job on Feena is beautiful. I honestly can’t find a flaw in her. All details are painted perfectly, and she’s got shading where shading is needed. Fantastic job, Kotobukiya!
POSE: 8/10

…ah, how delicate she seems in the tranquility of night…
Feena’s pose definitely gives off a delicate vibe. I’m not entirely sure what she’s doing, though. Running? Skipping? Just posing? Who knows. It looks feminine and princess-ish, so I guess that’s all that counts.

That night I saw the most beautiful full moon…ah, wait. Come back, Feena-sama! It was just a joke!
Now that’s a good looking rear. Too bad the panties are white, though. What a boring panty color.

Feena comes screwed to a lovely, but simple blue base. She’s got a blue theme going so I guess it’d only make sense for the base to be blue as well. Logic! Anyway, the base does its job.
OVERALL: 9/10
Feena is a mighty fine offering from Kotobukiya. While this version isn’t as impressive looking as Atelier-Sai’s 1/6 Princess Feena, this has got better overall quality. You really shouldn’t trust Atelier-Sai with PVC’s, by the way. I believe Feena was restocked recently so she shouldn’t be too difficult to find. I definitely recommend a purchase if you haven’t added her to your collection yet.
